Title Research: Watch the Titles

Image
My partner and I visited the website "Watch the Titles!" to receive inspiration for our final task. On the website there are many titles ranging from movie titles to video game titles. We wanted to see how we wanted everything to appear. There is a lot of details we could choose from. The color of our text, how we want it to appear, the duration of the text on screen. We visited films that were in the same the genre as ours to be as entertaining and accurate as possible. From watching a few examples on the we quickly gained an idea of what we wanted on our final task. We found that many of the examples included suspenseful non-diegetic sound. We also found that some examples included a darker color scheme. We found these elements easy to recreate and implement into our own work.
