My partner and I decided we need to focus and get a huge portion our filming done. We watched over the scenes that we already filmed and were not impressed. We thought that we could easily do better. We decided that we should start over fresh. This time we entered more determined. Wanted to feel as if we were real actors. Once we started over, we tried to implement all our conventions. After watching our work we compared it to other opening scenes. In popular horror films there are plenty elements that give it the suspenseful feeling. We went through the same steps of editing on iMovie, but used different transitions and fonts. We found that one of the applications offered more effects than the other. We used the application that we found offered better effects for our genre. The application with more sudden transitions. The one that had a better color scheme. The one that was better for editing in general. We compared both of our final tasks. One of them was obviously better than the other. We ended up choosing the task done on Capcut. We felt the work done on it was more professional. This task would be more entertaining than the task done on iMovie.
